Little Wold Vineyard in South Cave has a calm, intimate feel that really suits thoughtful, people first wedding days. Melissa and Cameron’s wedding here proved that even the wettest weather can’t dull the atmosphere when a day is built around connection, shared values and the people who matter most.

Woolas Barn, just outside York, was the perfect choice for Emily and Louis not only because of its beautiful setting, but because it’s rooted in an area they both love. Having met at York University, it was important to them that their wedding took place somewhere close to the city that means so much to them, while still feeling relaxed, welcoming and full of character.

The Beverley Barn in East Yorkshire is a venue that is very familiar to us. It’s close to home for us and somewhere we’re incredibly proud to be trusted suppliers, not only is it a beautiful space but it is also run by the best bunch of people who we regard as friends. Kirsty and Rich’s late Spring wedding here was everything The Beverley Barn does best, relaxed, full of heart, and completely unforced.

Ria and Cavill’s wedding day brought together two of East Yorkshire’s most impressive settings the historic Beverley Minster for their ceremony, followed by a celebration at Rise Hall. Both are undeniably grand, but what stood out most across the day wasn’t the scale or the architecture, it was the people, the energy and the way everyone made these spaces feel completely their own.

The Manor Rooms in South Cave, set within the Drewtons Estate, is a venue we know and love. It’s local to us, somewhere we’ve photographed weddings many times before and a place that really comes into its own when a day is centred around people, energy and celebration. Esther and Ruaridh’s wedding reception here was exactly that, a vibrant coming together of families, cultures and communities, full of colour, movement and joy.

Getting to know Maddy and Matt during our time with them has been a joy for us and really was a treat for us to photograph and film their wedding day. In this post we wanted to share how we approached their day and what it was like working at Allerton Castle.

Molly and Mikey’s wedding day had an energy that felt totally effortless, full of fun, and completely authentic to the couple. From emotional moments in the morning to the laughter of bingo before dinner, their wedding was pure joy and everything we love about capturing real, natural moments.

WedFest! A day packed full of colour, love and a whole lot of live music. This day was a proper festival of a wedding and a joy to have been part of.

In July we had the absolute joy of photographing Alice and Allen’s wedding day at the Manor Rooms in South Cave, a celebration of love and family that really resonated with us.

In June we took a trip east to the village of Patrington for Becky and Ash’s wedding at Dunedin Country House. We already knew Becky and Ash pretty well before their wedding day thanks to a couple of video calls and also a brilliant engagement session a few weeks earlier, we were so excited to meet their friends and family and to share the day with everybody!

Our last wedding of what was an absolutely incredible 2023 took us to Little Wold Vineyard to celebrate with Jemma and Roger and to end our year with a proper party!

Fast becoming one of our favourite wedding venues in East Yorkshire, Beverley Barn is a venue full of rustic charm and cosy vibes, making it the perfect setting for a magical festive wedding. We had the absolute joy of photographing Jess and Eliott’s wedding day at this fab venue, and let us tell you, it was an absolute blast!

As huge fans of the North Yorkshire Coast, we were over the moon to photograph the wedding of Aileen and Tom at the spectacular Raven Hall Hotel, a day full of warmth, laughter, and a joyous ceilidh dance!

“Always be prepared to have the time of your life” a line from the speeches which absolutely resonated with us! Kirsty and Danielle’s wedding at Bunny Hill was mega!!!

When we first spoke with Holly and Simon and they told us that they were planning to have their wedding in the family garden and do much of the work themselves, we could not have begun to imagine just how incredible the resulting wedding day would be. Of course we were excited to jump in and be a part of the day, but wow, this one was special!

We had the total joy of photographing the wedding of Charlotte and Sam at Kelham House Country Manor, a wonderful wedding venue in Nottinghamshire.

When Kirsty and Danielle suggested meeting at Bunny Hill Weddings for their engagement photoshoot we were so excited and were very grateful for the wonderful team at the venue for having us for a few hours! 

It is always brilliant to meet up with couples to get to know them before their wedding days but it was extra special when we met with Gemma and Vin as it was Gemma’s birthday! What a privilege it was to share a couple of hours with these two.

We kicked off our 2023 wedding season in style with a short trip to Lazaat Hotel in Cottingham for the wedding of Donna and Rob! We had the best time celebrating with everybody and wish Donna and Rob every happiness for their future together!
